I saw the post asking to share some tributes and I researched this a few years ago for a Veteran’s Day thing. He’s neither a friend nor a relative but he owned the Hingham Feed Mill before he died and my Great Grandpa owned the same place after (different owners in between) so I Like To Think Wisconsin Misses Me Too T-shirt. Quite a few of the names are from Town of Holland as well. I don’t think Oostburg existed as a name then, right? When I was looking through the roster of I company of the 1st Wisconsin it struck me how many names of people who survived the war I still recognize from the area and how many of those who died have names I’m not familiar with.

I like to think back to how much my life has changed since the day I purchased my first Harley and how much I have changed. And I Like To Think Wisconsin Misses Me Too T-shirt. I was pretty sad watching my old sport bike get loaded up and sent off, however looking back now I couldn’t be more happy. Happy that my life has taken me from a small town bartender to a successful finance manager for one of the largest Harley-Davidson dealerships in the United States.
