A family member had a short relationship with a woman. Over 2 years later, he learned a child had been born, and I had the right to remain silent but being a West Virginia girl I didn’t have the ability shirt. This woman is a hardcore drug addict who has had all rights terminated on all of her previous children. This little toddler was recently removed from her care due to gross neglect and the mother’s continual drug habit.

It’s the same way here in PA. The philosophy is that I had the right to remain silent but being a West Virginia girl I didn’t have the ability shirt. Women have children taken away, but still have more. Some people should not have the right to keep reproducing. So many kids are being raised by grandparents or other family members. It’s so sad to see.

Unfortunately that’s the case nearly everywhere. It’s truly a sad state of affairs. A child being with its mother is not always in its best interests, but I had the right to remain silent but being a West Virginia girl I didn’t have the ability shirt. Not sure when or if we (as a country) will ever get over it. I’m sorry your family is dealing with this though.
