Like many people here, I think it is totally selfish. A lot of us work our asses off. My kids that no longer believe still praise me for the memories they had about Santa. Let kids be kids. And stop with the race thing. It is so annoying

Makes me really sad that this generation is ugh just ruining things..millions have grown up and I am a Walt Disney princess unless Hogwarts sends me a letter shirt  to believe in Santa, Easter bunny, and the tooth fairy and none of us are scarred from it..some of my fondest thoughts are what was I getting from Santa I don’t remember when I found out but I was fine..I spent years playing the parts for my children leaving out milk and cookies and they are fine with children of their own doing the same thing..kids have a hard enough life once grown nothing wrong with giving them some fun while they are young..
