Fixin’ to shirt

Thank you Delta State University, for the last five years of employment. I hung up my DSU hat this week, and I’ll be pursuing my freelance career at a higher level. I worked with so many great students, faculty and Fixin’ to shirt — and I’ll really miss that. Delta State really is a beacon of hope for a lot Mississippi students, and I’m grateful to have worked with the green and white.

Marisol and I love the Delta, and we’re not leaving town. In fact, we just bought our first home in Cleveland. The people are what make this Fixin’ to shirt, which is why we intend to stay. So…time to up my freelance skills! I’m going to have to work harder, pitch more story ideas, develop personal work, and do a better job networking. On the plus side, I’ll be more available to work with local businesses. If you need new commercial work, please give me a call. I’ve always been thankful for the business opportunities with local companies.
