My mum was an alcoholic and sadly died when I was 15. She was just 37. For many years I wouldn’t drink and now rarely drink in front of my girls so Crazy Christmas Lady Shirt they don’t have memories of a drunk mum. Being originally from sweden I don’t find her choice of Crazy Christmas Lady Shirt an alcohol free option weird or different at all. Swedes have an ambivalent relationship to alcohol and drinking. And yes it’s true that we often drink either nothing at all or a lot. But the swedish acceptance of alcohol free options are in my opinion more widespread than in the UK.
