Black Cat Shirt

She was left behind when the people who owned her moved away. They just abandoned her. She came around our house for Black Cat Shirt after that and my son befriended her. She was alone so long she was feral. My 6 year old son loved her and was so patient with her. He named her ginger. When we moved from that house we wanted to take her with us. We took her to be spayed and chipped and were told she had a chip already, and she would have to remain with the humane society until the legal owners gave permission to have her released or picked her up.

This Is Lily, she unfortunately passed 4 years ago as of later this month, but she was a beautiful, very delicate, little girl who had been tossed back and Black Cat Shirt from humane society to pet store display. Constantly recycled through as other cats wereadopted and no one would take her as this Is a very superstitious town. She made It to see her 1st birthday before succumbing to dry fip that she contracted through cramped quarters as a kitten.

Totally don’t understand the prejudice against black cats, any more than the Black Cat Shirt red haired people. We used to have a black cat. The fact that he got run over on an unlit road was probably down to him being black, but that was just unlucky for him.
