I got to see my first game at UVA last year. This was a birthday gift from my family. I also have Best Notre Dame Fighting Irish Dad Ever Football T-shirt for many years with my now deceased husband. My dream is to be able to go to South Bend and see a game. I have a replica of the field. I was so excited i couldn’t sleep for days over seeing the game. She caught the fever very young in life as we would attend home games traveling 200 miles to see the Irish play. Katie would revel on campus in her tiny ND cheerleader outfit and now here she is on the biggest stage still leading the cheers only on line for ND Social Media. I feel so lucky to have grown up only a couple miles from the stadium. I was able to see the golden dome from our backyard, used to walk the campus everyday and have Best Notre Dame Fighting Irish Dad Ever Football T-shirt. My son and daughter in law work there… and with all that, the mystic and pure joy of that place never waines. I totally understand her uncontrolable exceitment ! I hope she has a wonderful time !
