85 years 1936 2021 John Madden thank you for the memories signature shirt

Steve McNair was one of the toughest…& I mean…the toughest…football players it’s ever been my privilege to watch. Don’t know if that makes him the “85 years 1936 2021 John Madden thank you for the memories signature shirt,” but he was pretty fabulous. If you want to dig back in history, the Titans franchise relocated from Houston, Texas in 1997, where they had been the Houston Oilers from 1960 in the AFL & merging with the NFL in 1970. So I’m not sure if you feel like the Oilers greats should be included in a list of Titans post-1997 or not. Bruce Matthews & Kevin Mawae, both Hall of Famers, were 2 of the greatest offensive linemen of all time, & booked playing time in Tennessee. Another all time great O Lineman & Hall of Famer, Mike Munchak, finished his career in Houston before the franchise moved. Great, great player. Randy Moss, a great wide receiver & Hall of Famer, made a brief stopover in Tennessee. Eddie George was a terrific running back for the team & they had a fine tight end in Frank Wycheck.

If we’re including other Houston Oilers beside Munchak, the list grows quite a 85 years 1936 2021 John Madden thank you for the memories signature shirt. Earl Campbell (HOF) was a wrecking ball masquerading as a running back. Ken Houston (HOF) is a candidate for greatest safety of all time. Charlie Joiner (HOF) wide receiver & John Henry Johnson (HOF) running back played for the Oilers, as did all time great tight end Dave Casper (HOF). Warren Moon, George Blanda, & Ken Stabler are all Hall of Fame quarterbacks. They had another quarterback named Dan Pastorini who is still #4 all time on the franchise passing yards list & helmed the team when they were good enough to contend for AFC 85 years 1936 2021 John Madden thank you for the memories signature shirts (they seemed to always run into the 70s Steel Curtain Pittsburgh Steelers but make no mistake, those Bum Phillips-coached Houston teams were good & went by the motto “Luv ya blue”).
